Laney, Taylor, & Lisa
If you know anything about my childhood, you know that I spent most of my time with Taylor. Not like, we just hung out after school and on weekends. Like, we spent more days together than apart. We attended each others family events, and knew each other's cousins and grandparents' life stories. I'm talking we did every. thing. together. So many memories of mine include Taylor, and her mom, Lisa. They'll forever hold a special place in my heart. Taylor and I were inseparable as children, grew together during those incredibly awkward middle school years, remained close during high school, went to the same college and were even roommates, and are now experiencing motherhood at the same time. Our lives are not as connected as they used to be, so any time we get together is an extra special treat. :)
Laney Mae was just absolutely not feeling photos. We tried all the tricks in the books, but what worked best was just letting her do her thing and going with it. Which, honestly, is what we all have to do for most sessions that include toddlers. For some reason they have their own agenda, LOL. Laney gave us a run for our money, and Taylor and I were exhausted and sweating by the end of the session. But goodness gracious, she is SO. DANG. CUTE. A lot of sass, and personality in that little girl (KARMA FOR YOU TAYLOR). Regardless, this was a blast and we ended up with some beautiful photos.
Taylor, Lisa, and Laney - thanks so much for letting me take some portraits of the 3 of you ladies. You are all the sweetest, most precious people! Love you all so much!
